Bryson Cooper: Modern Country with a Heartfelt Touch

From the quiet streets of New Palestine, Indiana, to the bustling heart of Nashville, Bryson Cooper has been making waves in the country music industry. Independent and passionate, he’s carving a niche in the modern version of country music.

Childhood Influences and Music Evolution

The Cooper family has deep musical roots. Bryson’s grandpa and family owned a country band in the 90s and early 2000s, creating an early immersion into the music world for Bryson. Growing up, he was also deeply influenced by legends like Johnny Cash, Keith Whitley, the Eagles, and various contemporary country artists.

His description of his musical style? “A modern version of country music. Mixing country rock with pop country, and sometimes even veering into the traditional.”

Collaborations and the Creative Process

Bryson is no stranger to collaboration. His discography contains hints of creative partnerships with songwriters like Colin Hawk, with whom he wrote the hit “This Damn Bar,” and his uncle, Trevor Baker. Beyond writing, the expertise of Indiana-based producer Niko Albanese adds the final touch to Bryson’s tracks. Fans should be on the lookout for “Gamble,” his upcoming single with Trissity Jane, set for a September 22nd release.

His mantra for songwriting is simple yet profound: “Country music has always been about telling a story. My titles and ideas always start from real-life experiences or from hearing something that resonates with me.”

Overcoming Challenges and Future Aspirations

Every artist’s journey is laden with challenges, and Bryson Cooper’s is no different. Convincing people to believe in his music was his initial hurdle. However, with determination and genuine stories embedded in his songs, Bryson ensures listeners won’t overlook him.

His recent song, “Marlboro Burnin’,” encapsulates his country rock spirit. Bryson fondly recalls the inspiration behind it: “It’s one of those roll-the-windows-down tracks, comparing a girl to the addictive allure of a Marlboro Red.”

In terms of future plans, Bryson has his eyes set on the horizon. “I hope to have a long career in music, travel the country, play my songs, and write for others. Most importantly, I want people to resonate with my feelings.”
