Growing up in Hudson County, New Jersey, Puerto Rican rapper TeeWhy knew he was always destined to become a rapper. Ever since he was young TeeWhy was infatuated with the art of poetry. He would utilize poetry as a way to express himself, but never realized that it would help cultivate him into the lyrical genius that he is today. Listening to rappers like 50 cent, Lil Wayne, and Eminem as a kid helped ignite the creative fire within TeeWhy to start writing his own music. Over the past few years, he has been able to climb the ranks of the industry in such a profound way, putting himself on the map of many big names in the music industry.
TeeWhy creates music that is honest, witty, and relatable. Not only does he write all of his music, but TeeWhy heavily participates in the production of his music as well. TeeWhy creates music that he intends for his fans to not only relate to but to also have a good time listening to. Much of his music is party music but he also has songs that are extremely deep that touch upon personal subjects that he has gone through. He hopes to be an artist that you can listen to when going through the tough times and the good times.
As for his next project, TeeWhy plans on releasing his highly anticipated album “No Pressure No Diamonds 2” at the beginning of 2022. His inspiration behind the album is to let his fans have a deeper look into his life. He touches upon some of the trials and tribulations he has gone through, as well as music you can vibe to.
